John Green's The Fault in Our Stars

4.5 / 5 stars

I love this book. It was my first John Green book. I was very hesitant to read it at first, but It turned out so much better than I care to admit. After reading this book,I ended up buying and reading (and loving) the rest of his books.

Hazel Grace loves to read. Has a brother. Her life is relatively normal. Oh except the fact that she has cancer and is at risk of dying. She goes to a support group meeting and meets Augustus. "I fell in love like you fall asleep, slowly then all at once." Hazel decides to go find her favorite author on a vacation and bring she new found love with her.

Things I Liked

- Hazel. Love Hazel.

- Very quotable. I use the quotes from this book all the time.

- The story flows almost perfectly.

- Everything is very well developed.

I really can't say that I disliked anything from this book. I'm just not good with sad books and that is truly the only reason why this book is not a full 5 stars.
